I Hate Goodbyes
Last day of internship today; I didn’t get much work until the last hour from Jim. Helen was slightly mad that they bombarded me with stuff at the last minute and she insisted that I leave at 5. So towards the end, Jim took over. Then I went around, saying bye to everyone and giving everyone hugs. Had some tears in my eyes too; this is why I hate goodbyes. They should never happen.
My team even got me a thank you card and 2 gift cards ($25 from B&N and a $100 Visa card). I felt terrible just getting my supervisors cards; I felt like I should have at least gotten them something else since they’ve been so nice to me this whole summer.
I will try my best to keep in touch and visit again (even though this has never happened for my previous internships =.=).
